brand new apartment Lucie, are situated in the calm recreational area of Predni Vyton, on the right bank of Lipno with beautiful view of the lake. Here you can relax from the stress of modern life. However if you fancy a trip to town its only a short 10 min drive to the busy tourist town of Lipno na Vltavou. We offering accommodation with capacity 8 beds suitable for
families with small children.
Whatever season you decide to visit our apartment, you will find there are many different activities on offer to suit all members of your family.
In winter you can visit the skiing resort
Lipno just 8km away or the Austrian skiing resort
Hochficht. From December-March Lake Lipno becomes the biggest natural ice skating rink in the Czech Republic. Being 725m above sea level it is usually frozen solid throughout the winter allowing enjoyable skating on its huge surface.

In the area of Predni Vyton there are also many
cross country ski tracks to be explored which total 45 km in length.
In case of bad weather you can use the
swimming pool and water attractions in Aquaworld Lipno 8 km from the apartment. Here you can find a swimming pool, circle pool with water attractions, 2 Finnish saunas, massage salon, restaurant and
kids corner.

In Lipno nad Vltavou is the
bob-slide track called Slide Land Lipno which is open all year around. This can be found on the central parking lot where you will see the lift station at the bottom of the run. Bob-slide Lipno Express in Lipno nad Vltavou is great fun for all the family.
450 m from the apartment is a new
sports area with a sandy beach and easy access to the water. You can also find a
tennis court, football pitch, volleyball, kids playground and boat hire.
Sumava National Park has many walking footpaths to allow you to explore its beautiful countryside. These are suitable for families but some will also interest advanced walkers. Foraging for mushrooms and visiting the castles and the many natural spectacles are also popular activities.
In the area of Predni Vyton for example is the starting place of red walking path KCT.

Lake Lipno is 42km long by 8 km wide, covering an area of 4870hecters it is the biggest lake in the Czech Republic. The Czechs refer to it as it
"Sumavas Sea". Summer activities on the lake include
yachting, windsurfing and swimming.
Fishing: Lipno is known as the Czech
fishing paradise and includes sports fishing and course fishing. You can fish in the Lake or in the river Vltava. More info can be found at

From spring to autumn you can use cycle paths in untouched nature of Sumava. You can cycle along the Schwarzenberks channel, where in the past wood was cut and sent by river to Vienna supplying it with logs for heating and timber for building. You can also find romantic pubs, where you can stop for some refreshment. There is a lot of little forest paths where cycling is also enjoyable. For transport of your bikes it is possible use the company Cyklotrans which is in operation until the end of September.

Whatever time of year you come here you can pay a visit to the many famous historic places. For example the town
Cesky Krumlov which is, with its architecture and tradition one of the most beautiful towns in the central Europe. Not far from here is the romantic castle
Hluboka with its nearby small
zoo, which kids will enjoy. Another interesting place to visit is the town
Vyssi Brod which has the third biggest library in the Czech Republic containing more than 7000 volumes. The Regional town
Ceske Budejovice with unique town square and black tower offers plenty of cultural, sporting and artistic interests. Here you can also find a cinema, swimming pool and theatre.
On Lake Lipno it is possible to take a trip on a sight
seeing boat, which leaves from port Lipno nad Vltavou 8km away. During either a short or long circular cruise you will be informed of interesting facts and stories about the lake. In the summer months it is possible to book an evening cruise with entertaining music and dancing.
In the summer holidays there is a
historic steam train which leaves regularly from the stop Černá v Pošumaví which is a welcome attraction for kids and adults.
About 8 km away in Lipno nad Vltavou is the hire shop Lipno Rent where you can hire summer
sporting equipment, for example sailing boats,
motor boats (no special driving license needed) or
bikes and helmets. All the equipment is available for both adults and children.
The hire shop is situated on a cycle path, with its great surface it means the hire of
inline skates is an enjoyable way of getting around. For people loving relax you can hire a pedal boat or a kayak. The hire shop is near to the yacht port in Lipno nad Vltavou, in the area of Marina Lipno Resort, building R, on the cycle path leading from Lipno nad Vltavou to Frymburk.

Lake Lipno is the best
area for yachting in the Czech Republic, and thanks to its natural conditions, is a great place for international competitions such as the Czech championships or the European championships which were held here in 1991, 1994 and 1998. For safety reasons there are
3 rescue organisations on the lake.
You can also go on a romantic evening ride, with beautiful views over Lake Lipno.
The Bob-slide is for kids from 3 years of age (only when riding with adults). Kids aged 8+ can ride on bob-slide alone. Thanks the heating system it is possible to ride in all weather.

golf lovers about 10 km from the apartment in area of Lipno nad Vltavou is Lipno golf course. The golf course has beautiful views over lake Lipno and its surroundings and is the second biggest course in Czech Republic. This
18 hole course has 3 cascade ponds which are a very attractive feature. The course is suitable for beginners to advanced players.

Family with Children will also appreciate the information center in Lipno nad Vltavou only 8km away. They run a kids club organizing entertainment, painting and competitions. They also offer a babysitting service.
For an exiting experience there are
adrenalin sports on offer such as aqua skipping, small four wheel drive vehicles, shooting, climbing, flying in hot air balloon, sky diving and sight-seeing flights.

For adults and kids we have supplied a number of board games in the apartment such as games called Carcassone, Lost cities, Zooloretto, Zug um Zug, Jungle Jam, Abalone, Burg Appenzel and others.
